Three jobs.

I understand, now, how people can “juggle” or “manage” or “cope” or “survive” with more than one job.  Considering people, generally, think a job consists of full-time employment, they suppose more than one “full-time” job is impossible!.  So, having been a maths tutor, and a chess coach, I thought it was pretty hectic.  even maths alone felt quite daunting, but then came telesales .. not just *any* telesales, but work at HOME telesales!

Though, I must admit that I enjoy the going into the city, walking into a corporate environment, more practically, working from home represents reduces OH costs incurred from travel!  This also means more sleep for me *yay*.

It sorta looks like an epic win situation for me, until I read Bonnie’s blog -.-” OMG WHAT THE HECK I so should have listened to my brother and researched programs o/s in china to learn chinese -.-.  Epic fail, even though I am going to  study chinese as my two general education subjects next year .. it would have been so awesome!

Though, how is one to travel when they don’t have any money?

Ah well .. in other things i’m going to get my commsec trading account activated, but i’m still debating whether e-trade is better or not.

Not that I think i did exceptionally well, more the anxiety of knowing how good/bad my performance actually was compared to my expectations.  I suppose you could make an analogy along the lines of whether my overhead was over/under-applied in a normal-costing system =D.

Life has been good since uni, post-FINS1613 went to Rodney’s house/birthday party - lotsa people, lotsa fun.  Talk about everything’s connected to everything else, i met the girlfriend of a guy in the grade below me who transferred to baulko.  The scary thing is that I followed her facebook profile, but who’d've thought i’d meet her in the future? LOL okay that just sounds absolutely stalkerish.

Hmm well yes, rod’s = fun + pool yay hmm.  Ended up sleeping at 3am/waking up sporadically through the night, no thanks to ray’s snoring -.-”, ordinarily 7 hours sleep would have been ideal (since i was planning to wake up at 10am) but i didn’t particularly account for externalities (uber fail).

So, 10am wake up, forgot what i did next, something along the lines of talk/daydream/be hyper hmm actually i think we were reliving the moments of discussion RE: penis-envy.  Interesting stuff.  Followed by playing some pool which occurred after eating some bacon/eggs cooked by Rod’s brother =).  Man, that guy looks so old lol, i’m jealous of all these younger people who are all so much more confident with communicating with people older than them/are more outgoing/have more life-experience than I did at their equivalent age.  Maybe it’s just me =|.

In-between cleaning up and going to Bondi Jctn -> Bondi Beach, not much happened.  SO let’s skip right to the swimming .. yes I swam for like 15 minutes, but the intriguing thing was that I met this Californian guy in the water who had “fins” (flippers) and something tells me/suggests to me that he was the monarch of my Utopia KD, Fate in Haze.  Talk about scary stuff aye?  I never got around to asking him, but yeah anyway what are the chances of it anyway?  Unlikely?  I like to think it was him anyway, but i’ll find out soon enough - as soon as he sorts his RL stuff out lol.

After the swim, proceeded to couple of food outlets then met up with the sculptures by the sea group YAY.  Walked through all the sculptures (i think) and yes, was tiring, considering i had a cumulative 13 hours sleep over the past 48 hours hmm.  At Tamarama beach we ended up playing “Cat and Mouse” and i taught them zah-putzah hehehehe fun fun :d.  Post-games, walked around (finished personally examining the sculptures on Tamarama) then proceeded to walk back to Bondi to get to the city (this was after some discussion as to where to eat).

Arrive at Bathurst St bus stop, get off + walk to Darling Harbour where it so happened that Hillsong had one of their musical events + fireworks (yay) but .. hmm led to some slight discussion of their flaws.  Followed by putting name @ hurricanes, then proceeding to pancakes to line up.  Decided to go to pancakes (purely because they let us in first) and yes, had hurricanes been 5 mins earlier we’d've gone there :D.

I suppose this paragraph will approximately be about consumer sovereignty and how everything is connected to everything else!  Okay so well, Phil ordered ribs and complained (rightly so) that the wedges served to him were like 1/3rd the number shown in the picture (i mean come on, misleading advertising?) this led to him getting some more.  Funnily enough, Anita/Alice attempted to complain/suggest they were ripped off with their “fisherman’s catch” which contained only four fish cocktail-like thingos, but when they viewed the picture it also had four (so BL for them I suppose).  Hmm pity they didn’t have a picture of wedges since Ray Y. added wedges for $2.95 only to get something like a grand total of 9 pieces FAROUT I SPLIT IT WITH HIM WTF!  Man, to be absolutely honest, the amount they served was LESS than 1/3rd the amount they would ordinarily serve you at the Quad food court.  Okay, enough about this consumer sovereignty business, yes in the process of eating Connie arrived.  Funnily enough, the majority of us all went to the same Chinese school, whether cantonese or mandarin, so hmm yes we all semi-recognised each other/remember? each other [not me, clearly .. :S dang poor ppl tho it may have something to do with repeating yr 3 =P].  I mean, she (Connie) remembered me from the random Chinese Eistedfodd thingo =P.  I suppose something beneficial *did* come out of rehearsing in front of the entire school at the end of weekly assemblies -.-’  Not that I ever won anything.

Okay well, point is that it’s so crazy when you randomly facebook-stalk or meet people in the past, in the future (i.e. present).  It’s just one of those things I began noticing earlier in the year, how even the smallest things you don’t notice at present will eventually influence your life in the future - somehow.  This has essentially led me to become more aware of surroundings/the smaller things that happen in life.  I suppose, it’s going to become even scarier, having begun chess coaching at a more active level (yay i’ve got like 17 classes over the next three weeks =D $$$$) hehe i’ll probably end up meeting at least a handful of this some time in the future when i’m working or something.  Also applies to the maths dudes down in Hurstville.

It wouldn’t surprise me.

Had 1 hours worth of lectures today

phew…had the full hour… AND i arrived early for free parking

…didnt come 20mins l8 for 40mins worth like last wk…coz last wk was soooo skrewd == reloz….lecture at 12. grandma told me (at 11.30) to drop relos off at bw …as i was about to leave (at 1135). then, i was told to drive uncle to another uncle’s place to pickup another car….and i had to show him the way back home as well…..LOL….so instead of leaving 1135, i left my place for uni at 1150….got to uni at 1210 n then i decided to be cheap n got free parking, which was =8min walk
